Job summary

A leading medical center in Kuwait is seeking a highly skilled Plastic Surgeon to deliver cosmetic and reconstructive procedures with the highest standards of safety and patient care.

The ideal candidate has MD or equivalent, board certification in Plastic Surgery, a valid Kuwait MOH license, and at least 5 years post‑specialization experience. English fluency required; Arabic is a plus. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Board Certification / Fellowship in Plastic Surgery.
• Valid medical license or eligibility for Kuwait MOH licensure.
• Minimum 5 years post‑specialization experience as a Plastic Surgeon.
• Experience in private hospital or reputable aesthetic medical center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, evaluations, and treatment planning.
• Perform cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures including rhinoplasty, breast augmentation/reduction/reconstruction, liposuction, abdominoplasty, facelifts, blepharoplasty, otoplasty, fat grafting, and scar revisions.
• Perform minimally invasive aesthetic treatments and non-surgical facial rejuvenation when applicable.
• Explain treatment options, risks, outcomes, and post‑operative care to patients.
• Monitor recovery and provide follow‑up care for optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with regulations and protocols.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, dermatologists, and other professionals.
• Stay updated with advancements in plastic and aesthetic surgery techniques.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Plastic Surgeon to join a leading medical center in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining the highest standards of safety, ethics, and clinical excellence. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of surgical and non-surgical aesthetic procedures, provide comprehensive patient consultations, and contribute to the growth of the facility's plastic surgery services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, evaluations, and treatment planning.
• Perform cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures, including but not limited to: Rhinoplasty; Breast augmentation, reduction, and reconstruction; Liposuction and body contouring; Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck); Facelift and Neck Lift; Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery); Otoplasty; Fat grafting and lipofilling; Scar revision and reconstructive procedures.
• Perform minimally invasive aesthetic treatments where applicable, including injectables and non-surgical facial rejuvenation.
• Explain treatment options, risks, expected outcomes, and post‑operative care to patients.
• Monitor patient recovery and provide follow‑up care to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with all healthcare regulations and clinical protocols.
• Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists, nurses, dermatologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in plastic and aesthetic surgery techniques and technologies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain the highest standards of patient safety.

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD or equivalent).
• Board Certification / Fellowship in Plastic Surgery.
• Valid medical license or eligibility for Kuwait Ministry of Health licensure.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑specialization experience as a Plastic Surgeon.
• Proven experience in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery.
• Experience in a private hospital or reputable aesthetic medical center is highly preferred.
• Excellent surgical, clinical, and patient consultation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
