Responsibilities

• The Physician Assistant will provide clinical and administrative services by working with an assigned physician, other health care professionals, and staff to provide quality patient care.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for performing medical histories and physical examinations, diagnose illnesses and injuries, order laboratory tests and imaging services to aid in diagnosis, counsel patients on preventive healthcare, administer medications, assist with minor procedures as needed, and provide education about diseases and treatments.

Qualifications

• Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or similar certifying body.
• Possess excellent communication skills including the ability to explain medical terminology clearly and concisely to patients.
