What you will do
- Assess & Diagnose – Use play-based and standardized tools (e.g., CBCL, BASC) to identify children’s emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs.
- Deliver Therapy – Provide individual and group interventions (CBT, play therapy, family counseling) tailored to pediatric populations.
- Coach Caregivers – Teach parents behavior-management strategies, communication techniques, and home-based supports.
- Integrate Care – Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, and allied health to embed mental-health support into each child’s care plan.
- Develop Resources – Create workshops and materials on managing tantrums, anxiety-coping skills, and social development.
- Monitor & Adapt – Track progress via validated measures; refine interventions based on data and family feedback.
- Advocate & Educate – Lead team briefings and community outreach to destigmatize pediatric mental-health care and encourage early support.

You will thrive here if you have…
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (licensed or license-eligible)
- 3+ years’ experience in pediatric or child-development settings
- Proficiency with child-assessment instruments and EMR documentation
- Strong play-therapy and family-systems intervention skills
- Exceptional empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity with children and caregivers
