What you will do
  • Assess & Diagnose – Use play-based and standardized tools (e.g., CBCL, BASC) to identify children’s emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs.
  • Deliver Therapy – Provide individual and group interventions (CBT, play therapy, family counseling) tailored to pediatric populations.
  • Coach Caregivers – Teach parents behavior-management strategies, communication techniques, and home-based supports.
  • Integrate Care – Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, and allied health to embed mental-health support into each child’s care plan.
  • Develop Resources – Create workshops and materials on managing tantrums, anxiety-coping skills, and social development.
  • Monitor & Adapt – Track progress via validated measures; refine interventions based on data and family feedback.
  • Advocate & Educate – Lead team briefings and community outreach to destigmatize pediatric mental-health care and encourage early support.
How success is measured
  • Improvement in validated behavioral/emotional assessment scores
  • Patient engagement and treatment completion rates
  • Parent/caregiver feedback and referral frequency
  • Time from referral to first session (≤ 7 days)
