Job description

Job Purpose

To ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining employee records, and compliance with applicable laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Maintain employee payroll records including attendance, overtime, deductions, and leaves.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, social insurance, and internal payroll policies.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance for updates on employee changes (new hires, resignations, promotions, etc.).
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Prepare payroll reports and summaries for management review.
  • Assist with audits and ensure payroll documentation is properly maintained.
  • Support month-end and year-end payroll closing activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of payroll principles, labor law, and tax/social insurance regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software systems.
  • High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle on-site responsibilities and flexible work requirements is preferred.
