Paving Supervisor or Engineer should monitor and supervise all activities on the floor and on-site, handling different requests for maintenance and delivery of new equipment. The supervisor should work towards achieving the best client satisfaction results by streamlining the process of designating, maintaining, and quoting services for equipment. The role also involves supporting the acquisition of new service contracts from customers and ensuring customer needs are met, with a focus on paving equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to workshop policies, processes, and procedures as outlined in operational manuals and follow manager instructions.
- Ensure equipment and item procurement is cost-effective, economical, and timely within company policies.
- Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and implement HSE protocols.
- Maintain service quality to meet market standards and customer satisfaction.
- Generate maintenance contracts and support organizational activities towards this goal.
- Conduct regular checks on service operations to ensure compliance and provide immediate feedback.
- Monitor warranty statuses and inform management of expiring warranties.
- Handle customer complaints promptly and escalate issues as necessary.
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure contracts are properly signed and document any product, safety, or operational issues.

- Plan and schedule technicians, materials, and equipment efficiently.
- Maintain communication between implementation and execution teams.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and maintain a log of machine breakdowns to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure a safe working environment and enforce safety protocols.
- Follow up on parts requests and complete repairs within scheduled timeframes.
- Perform troubleshooting and resolve workshop issues.
- Arrange manpower to complete tasks and track key performance metrics such as uptime and repair times.
