Job Summary:

The operations manager for the petroleum hose manufacturing plant will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the plant and ensuring high productivity and efficiency while complying with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in the petroleum hose manufacturing industry and a deep understanding of safety, quality standards, and certifications such as API.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage Daily Operations:

• Oversee the entire production process, from raw materials to finished products.
• Ensure the efficient operation of equipment with minimal downtime.

Compliance with Industry Standards:

• Ensure all quality and safety standards, including API standards, are implemented throughout the manufacturing process.
• Monitor compliance with environmental and health regulations.

Team Management:

• Lead and guide the team to ensure high efficiency and achievement of production goals.
• Provide continuous training to workers on the latest technologies and procedures.
• Monitor employee performance and evaluate their competencies.

Process Analysis and Improvement:

• Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Apply continuous improvement methods (such as Lean and Six Sigma) to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Maintenance Management:

• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all equipment is operating at peak efficiency.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans to minimize equipment breakdowns.

Reporting:

• Prepare regular reports for senior management on production progress, quality, expenses, and challenges.
• Track inventory and raw material requirements to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Quality Management:

• Ensure that quality tests are conducted on all finished products and meet the required standards.
• Address any quality issues promptly and effectively.
