Job summary

Guru Kuwait is seeking a Safety Officer for a reliever vacancy in Jahra, Kuwait, covering the KOC North Kuwait area operation & maintenance project from 09/08/2025 to 08/09/2025. The role requires a degree in science or engineering and at least five years in oil & gas field safety, with NEBOSH/OSHA/IOSH being advantageous.

Accommodation and transportation will be provided; prior KOC approval is an advantage. Arabs & Middle Easterners are preferred for this assignment.

Qualifications

• Bsc degree in Chemistry, Physics or Maths or a diploma in mechanical engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of oil & gas field safety officer experience.
• NEBOSH, OSHA or IOSH courses are advantageous.
• Basic first aider certificate or NEBOSH with 10 years oil & gas field safety experience and 1 safety course.
