Job summary

ABYAT Kuwait is expanding and seeks a senior Visual Merchandising professional to lead in-store presentation across our stores, with a focus on Bedroom and Wardrobe displays, space management, and brand standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

You translate Head Office concepts into clear store guidelines, coordinate launches, seasonal updates, and collaborate with Marketing, Store Ops, and Supply Chain. Travel to stores is expected to support execution and maintain high visual quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Architecture, Retail Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in visual merchandising within furniture or home retail.
• Experience in multi-store visual merchandising operations or handling multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of room-set presentation, store layout, space management, and product presentation.
• Experience with range changes, launches, seasonal updates, and layout changes.
• Ability to create Bedroom and Wardrobe displays using furniture, textiles, lighting, and storage.
• Good knowledge of home furnishing trends, customer flow and product coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, floor planning or visual mock-up tools.
• MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook for planning and reporting.
• Strong English communication; Arabic a plus.
• Willing to travel frequently to stores.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate visual merchandising updates for categories across multiple stores.
• Support launches and presentation of products.
• Translate Head Office concepts into store guidelines, layouts, and visual action plans.
• Coordinate new range launches, seasonal refreshes, discontinued changes, and layout updates.
• Collaborate with Business Units, Layout Execution, Marketing, Store Ops, Inventory, and suppliers.
• Monitor product availability and replacement items impacting Bedroom/Wardrobe displays.
• Conduct regular store visits and audits to ensure alignment with layouts and brand standards.
• Identify visual inconsistencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Support space management, room-set presentation, and product storytelling.
• Ensure Bedroom/Wardrobe displays reflect trends and customer needs.
• Maintain visual merchandising calendars, trackers, and reports.
• Support in-store visual teams with guidelines and on-site implementation.
