Job summary

Ambe International is seeking an experienced technician for a long-term Kuwait project. The role is focused on mechanical maintenance in oil & gas sectors, with emphasis on motor maintenance and precise alignment. Candidates should have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI/Trade cert and 5–7 years hands-on experience.

The position requires strong skills in reading P&IDs, blueprints, manuals, and handling heavy machinery with rigging or cranes. Kuwait-based on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI (Industrial Training Institute) / Trade Certificate in Machinist or Fitter.
  
• Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in oil & gas, refineries, petrochemical, or power plants.
  
• Specially for motor maintenance activities and alignment
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in reading piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), mechanical blueprints, and equipment manuals.
    
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical seals, bearings, couplings, and alignment techniques.
    
  • Experience with rigging, lifting, and handling heavy machinery using cranes or hoists.
