Job summary

Workato is seeking a Merchandiser Assistant to support the planning, development, and execution of our product assortment in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. This contract role includes accommodation and an expedited start for candidates who can begin immediately.

You will collaborate with merchandising, marketing, sales, and operations to ensure aligned product strategies. Strong organizational and analytical skills, plus MS Office proficiency, are essential to succeed in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Merchandiser Assistant or similar experience.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of retail math and inventory management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT).
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Contract role; prior contract experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing merchandise plans.
• Monitor inventory levels and sales performance for ordering.
• Analyze market trends and customer preferences.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain product information in systems (pricing, descriptions, images).
• Assist in creating in-store and online visual displays.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations on product strategies.
