Qualifications

Merchandiser Assistant

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Merchandiser Assistant to join our team in Al Ahmadi. As a Merchandiser Assistant, you will work closely with our merchandising team to support the planning, development, and execution of our product assortment. This is a contract job with accommodation provided, and we are urgently looking for candidates who can start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Assist the merchandising team in developing and executing merchandise plans that align with company goals and objectives
• Monitor inventory levels and sales performance to make recommendations for product ordering, allocation, and markdowns
• Analyze market trends and customer preferences to identify opportunities for new products or improvements to existing ones
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues that may arise
• Help maintain accurate product information in our systems, including pricing, descriptions, images, etc.
• Assist in creating visual displays that effectively showcase products in-store or online
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and operations to ensure alignment on product strategies

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Merchandiser Assistant or similar role preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of retail math and inventory management principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Contract job experience is beneficial but not required
