A leading retail company is looking for a Merchandiser to support their country stores in implementing commercial decisions related to visual merchandising and promotional displays. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of retail merchandising experience, excellent communication skills, and must possess a valid Kuwait driving license. This role involves conducting store visits, ensuring compliance, and supporting new store openings.
Job Responsibilities:
• Supporting Country stores in implementing commercial decisions on space and layout, such as visual merchandising, promotional displays, visibility agreements, etc.
• Carrying out store visits/checks and ensuring store compliance with agreed guidelines & principles and reporting back to the Division Manager.
• Maintaining visibility agreements in all stores in coordination with store management.
• Providing support to the Planogram team in capturing category and product spaces from stores.
• Collecting and verifying store requirements for fixtures and equipment replacements.
• Supporting new store openings and major merchandising activities as assigned.
• Participating in promotional/seasonal display, building up and dismantling as needed.
• Ensuring that visual merchandising across all categories is attractive and is in accordance with established standards and requirements.
Required Skills and Experience:
• At least 2-3 years of retail merchandising experience
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Creativity and a strong eye for design.
• Having a Kuwait driving license is a must
