Job description

We are looking for a Mendix Developer, either based in Kuwait or willing to relocate, to join our team. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying applications using the Mendix low-code platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Mendix and a strong understanding of application development best practices, integrations, and agile methodologies..

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web and mobile applications using the Mendix platform
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
• Translate business needs into functional applications using Mendix components
• Implement integrations with external systems and APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP)
• Ensure applications are scalable, secure, and meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during development and post-deployment
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Maintain documentation for architecture, configurations, and development processes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2–3 years of proven experience in Mendix application development
• Mendix Intermediate or Advanced Developer certification (required)
• Strong understanding of data modeling, business logic, and UI/UX principles
• Experience integrating Mendix applications with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other low-code platforms (e.g., OutSystems, Power Apps) is a plus
• Background in traditional development (e.g., Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS) is an advantage
