Job summary

SLB in Kuwait invites applications for a Mechanical Technician who will inspect, repair, maintain, and pressure test Liner Hanger systems and related equipment. You will disassemble, clean, assemble, and refurbish tools per OEM procedures and diagnose failures with troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.

The role requires 4–6 years of experience in Liner Hanger repair, hands-on hydraulic and mechanical downhole tools, and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in Liner Hanger equipment repair and maintenance within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulic and mechanical Liner Hanger systems, running tools, packers, and related downhole equipment.
• Knowledge of pressure testing, dimensional inspection, and equipment certification processes.
• Forklift, crane, or lifting equipment certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a workshop and field support environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
