The technician will also clean, lubricate, and repack system parts.

Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain large commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including ventilation, refrigeration, and cooling systems. Perform recurring work on exhaust fans, boilers, air handlers, pumps, motors, air dryers, and control systems. Collaborate with engineering personnel on plans and modifications, reviewing specifications and drawings to determine equipment size and placement.

Design, modify, and maintain critical environmental and energy support systems, including highly sensitive computerized controls and air quality monitoring systems within INSCOM SCIFs. Provide advanced technical support for security-sensitive operations, including sound baffling and electrical current resolution to ensure high system availability.

Produce classified technical documentation detailing findings and recommendations. Perform emergency fault isolation on smoke removal and fire detection/suppression systems used in critical military facilities. Conduct diagnostics, calibration, and lubrication of complex electronic environmental systems within SCIFs housing sensitive military equipment.

Deploy worldwide to support mobile facilities and provide expert technical assistance in operational environments with limited documentation. Respond to off-duty calls for critical system outages, supporting ISR system performance and developing technical documentation for support layouts. Support US Army systems on-site and be prepared to deploy internationally to support military missions in hazardous environments.

Physical requirements include maneuvering in small spaces and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

Possess a Bachelor's degree with three years of experience, or a high school diploma with a combination of 10 years of education and experience, along with a valid Master HVAC license or equivalent at the state level.
