Under the U.S. Army INSCOM GILE program, Team V2X provides:

  • Global multi-disciplined engineering
  • Facilities, sustainment, and maintenance of intelligence systems
  • Integration of new intelligence technologies and capabilities
  • Portal management, hardware design, network management, and logistics support

Our mission is to enable INSCOM's objectives by supporting Soldiers, Civilians, systems, and facilities across multiple locations.

This position is located at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, contingent upon contract award to V2X. It requires a security clearance.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and repacking parts.
  2. Track performance, troubleshoot complex HVAC/R problems, and respond to service calls, producing reports via CMMS.
  3. Respond to emergencies, diagnose issues, and determine repair or replacement needs.
  4. Install, repair, and maintain large commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  5. Perform recurring work on HVAC equipment, including control and monitoring systems.
  6. Work with engineering personnel on plans, modifications, and user needs, reviewing plans and specifications.
  7. Design, maintain, and repair critical environmental systems within sensitive facilities, supporting security requirements.
  8. Produce technical documentation and provide support for security-sensitive systems, including smoke removal and fire detection equipment.
  9. Maintain electronic environmental systems, calibrate components, and perform system diagnostics.
  10. Deploy worldwide in strategic environments, providing expert technical assistance for 24-hour operations.
  11. Support U.S. Army systems on-site and be available for deployment in other locations.
  12. Conduct daily surveillance of equipment, adhere to safety policies, and wear PPE.
  13. Attend safety training and submit work order documentation.
  14. Operate building systems, interpret control drawings, and maintain system schematics.
  15. Maintain logs of environmental conditions and adjust controls to meet regulatory standards.
  16. Assist in overseeing contractors during repair or renovation projects.
Qualifications

Education / Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 10 years of related experience leading to licensure as a Master HVAC or equivalent, OR
  • 12 years of military HVAC training/certification experience.

Security Clearance:

  • Must be a US citizen with Final Top-Secret clearance based on a TIER 5 background check, with eligibility for SCI access.
  • Some roles may require a CI Scope Polygraph, especially for access to TDN2.
