Job description
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Apply and implement the company’s policies related to contract and procurement handling and management to ensure that contracts are executed in a professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s policies in all internal and external dealings.
  • Prepare and draft contracts in a manner that clearly reflects the full scope of the required work, in coordination with the relevant departments and stakeholders within the company.
  • Review and follow up on the progress of tenders to ensure compliance with the applicable laws, regulations, and procedures of the company.
  • Monitor purchase requests and follow up on their conversion to purchase orders.
  • Ensure that purchasing operations are carried out according to approved purchase requests, approved specifications, and the delivery schedule.
  • Provide assistance and/or suggestions related to the preparation and development of contracts and procurement, and/or review, analyze, and evaluate the company's contract and procurement policies and procedures.
  • Review and study any requests or complaints that arise during the execution period of contracts and purchase orders.
  • Report to the direct supervisor any deviations or violations from contract terms, purchase requests, specifications, quantities, delivery schedule, etc., and request prompt and effective correction to safeguard the company’s rights and interests.
  • Create a database for all company tenders, contracts, and purchase requests in accordance with the instructions of the direct supervisor.
  • Participate in the qualification of contractors/suppliers and the periodic evaluation of their performance in accordance with the regulations and procedures adopted by the company in this regard.
  • Carry out any other similar or related tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
Education & Qualification

Holds a university degree in one of the following fields: Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, MechanicalEngineering, Electrical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.

Experience

Minimum 8/- years of relevant work experience.

Skills
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Proficient in using computers and related applications.
