Amentum is seeking linguists with excellent English skills to join our talented and diverse team globally to support our mission’s success. We are looking for dedicated language professionals in various languages/dialects to support our intelligence community customer OCONUS. Linguists will support U.S. military operations in Kuwait as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in an assigned area of responsibility. They will provide language services and contribute cultural insights regarding the region's historical, political, sociological, and economic trends to senior leadership.

Principal Responsibilities:

1. Provide operational contract linguist support for military operations, including interpretation during interviews, meetings, and conferences.
2. Transcribe and analyze verbal communications.
3. Research and analyze foreign language documents for key information.
4. Provide translation and interpretation services in Malayalam.

Job Requirements:

1. Must be a U.S. citizen.
2. Must have excellent command of Malayalam & English, with ILR proficiency level 3 in the target language and 2+ in English.
3. Must hold a current U.S. passport or apply upon acceptance into the program.
4. Willing to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance for access to classified information.
5. Willing to work in Kuwait.
6. Willing to work shifts and extended hours for 24/7 operations.
7. Familiarity with and ability to conduct oneself according to local culture and customs.
8. Must undergo a medical examination.
