Job summary

Avanta Works in Kuwait's Al Ahmadi region is seeking an experienced Handyman to join our facilities management team. You will perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across residential and commercial properties, from carpentry and plumbing to electrical work, ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely completion.

The role is full-time with a salary of 1700 USD per month. Fluent English and reliable work ethic are essential; visa sponsorship is available for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English with good communication skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical work.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor when needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work flexible hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conducting routine inspections and identifying maintenance needs.
• Repairing or replacing fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed.
• Painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and other general repairs.
• Ensuring all work is completed to high standards and within deadlines.
• Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Responding to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
