Candidates should have an ITI certification and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

Job description

Major Responsibilities and Duties

1. Operate all types of precision metal cutting machines and perform related work. Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, verniers, protractors, calipers, and thread gauges.
2. Use various hand tools including files, saws, scrapers, and hammers.
3. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to perform necessary calculations.
4. Set up, operate, and conduct machining work on machines like lathe, milling machine, shaping machine, boring machine, grinding machine, sewing machines, and drilling machines.
5. Fabricate and repair parts with very precise tolerances.
6. Fabricate all types of screw threads on different metals.
7. Fabricate and grind various tool bits required for work.
8. Assist in maintenance and repair of machining equipment.
9. Maintain equipment in a clean and safe condition.
10. Machining raw metals or parts to specified sizes and shapes according to provided drawings.
11. Follow Health, Safety, and Environment Management System (HSEMS) requirements to meet company and client standards.

Qualifications and Experience

1. ITI certification with over 3 years of experience with lathe and other machine shop machines.
2. Knowledge of spoken and written English or Arabic.
3. Must pass the company's trade test for this role.
4. Awareness of basic refinery safety practices and use of Personal Protective Equipment.
5. Experience in refinery, petrochemical, power station, or construction projects.
