Purpose: The Logistic Integration Manager (LIM) is responsible for operational planning and synchronization of Supply, Maintenance, and Transportation operations to support routine and non-routine mission requirements for Army Prepositioned Stocks (APS-5). The LIM supervises the seamless integration of logistics systems and processes within a company, ensuring smooth data flow between departments such as Supply, Maintenance, Transportation, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to optimize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and operational performance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reports directly to the LOC Manager, providing analysis based on logistical standardization to contractual requirements.
- Leads the LOC APS-OPS Cell, staffed with employees capable of providing logistical expertise, analyzing, facilitating data exchanges, and coordinating workload and requirements externally.
- Interacts cohesively with USG counterparts for briefings and mission-related requirements daily.
- Coordinates and works effectively across internal and external teams, both in-person and virtually.
- Identifies and implements process improvements to streamline logistics operations by analyzing data, identifying bottlenecks, and coordinating changes across departments.
- Conducts counseling and appraisals of personnel periodically to ensure qualifications are maintained.
- Coordinates planning and execution of multiple operations with the Plans/Future Operations Team using the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP).
- Prioritizes and plans effectively, analyzing performance trends and reports for accuracy, including Taskers, MHU, CDRLs, RFIs, and mission data as per PWS requirements.
- Works well under pressure, thrives in fast-paced environments, and adapts to growth and change.
- Participates in developing Concept of Support/Course of Action briefs, APS-5 Set Annual Issue Exercise requirements, and issue plans per contract.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent highly preferred. Eight (8) years of related experience can substitute for degree.
Experience:
- 8+ years in civilian or military Logistics/Operations; 16+ years if no degree.
- 5+ years supervisory experience.
- Former U.S. Army Senior Logistics and Operations NCO/Officer (E-7 to O-4) preferred.
Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong interfacing skills at Program/Project level.
- Knowledge of AR 220-1, equipment readiness reporting, USR reports, and change facilitation.
- Intermediate MS Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Outlook).
- Experience managing DoD logistics systems from planning to implementation.
- Ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and make decisions to optimize logistics.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency with GCSS-Army and other DoD Logistics Information Systems.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and positivity.
Certification, License & Clearance:
- Project Management Professional certification preferred.
- GCSS-Army certification required.
- Secret Clearance required; must have an active Tier 3 Secret U.S. Government clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands:
- Ability to perform duties efficiently and effectively.
- Work in extreme environmental conditions, including dust and high temperatures.
- Endure long hours and exposure to weather and hazards.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
