Job summary

NextPartners is seeking a skilled Crane Operator for our Bayan, Kuwait project. You will operate mobile and tower cranes, perform pre-shift inspections, and ensure safe, efficient material handling on site.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years' crane experience, a valid license such as CCO, strong reading of blueprints, and excellent communication. This physically demanding role requires attention to safety and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a crane operator, preferably in a construction setting.
• Valid crane operator license/certification e.g. CCO.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate different types of cranes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and daily maintenance on the crane.
• Follow all safety regulations and procedures while operating the crane.
• Move materials or equipment to designated locations using the crane.
• Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radio to ensure safe movement of materials.
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations as necessary.
• Keep accurate records of daily work activities including materials moved and hours worked.
• Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
• Adhere to strict deadlines and project timelines.
