Job summary

JobCenter, on behalf of Al-Kuwait restaurant in Kuwait City, is seeking an experienced Chef to lead our kitchen team. You will design menus, plan recipes, manage inventory, and ensure top quality and safety standards.

This full-time role offers a salary of 900 KD per month. The ideal candidate has proven chef experience, knowledge of diverse cuisines, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef or Cook.
• Knowledge of diverse cuisines.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Food hygiene certificate is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design menus and food items in line with the restaurant's philosophy.
• Purchasing ingredients, managing inventory, and ensuring quality control.
• Cooking delicious meals with accuracy and speed.
• Training and directing kitchen staff in meal preparation and cooking techniques.
• Ensuring health and safety standards are met in the kitchen.
• Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
• Managing budgets, ordering equipment, and overseeing food delivery schedules.
