Job summary

Overview

Job Title: Land Surveyor

Location: Al-Kuwait, Kuwait

Salary: 1300

We are looking for a Land Surveyor to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately measuring and mapping land, as well as planning, recording, and analyzing survey data. This position requires attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct land surveys using a variety of instruments such as total stations, electronic distance measuring devices (EDM), GPS receivers, laser levels, etc.
• Analyze survey data and create maps and other reports.
• Calculate elevation changes using contour lines on topographical maps.
• Determine boundary lines from deeds and other documents.
• Install markers at designated points on properties to indicate property boundaries.
• Update property records with new surveys or changes in boundaries or markers.
• Inspect construction sites to ensure accuracy of measurements according to plans and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• 2+ years of experience as a Land Surveyor required
• Possession of professional certifications or licensure is an advantage
• Expertise in using surveying software such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Trimble Access/Business Center, Global Mapper, etc.
• Familiarity with GIS systems preferred
