Job summary

LGTC HR Development Consulting in Kuwait City invites a dedicated KS1 Teacher to deliver high-quality education to children aged 5–7, plan engaging lessons, and support both academic and personal development in a nurturing environment.

The successful candidate will collaborate with parents and colleagues, assess progress, manage the classroom effectively, and contribute to school activities and professional development.

Qualifications

• Recognized teaching qualification; QTS or equivalent preferred.
• Experience teaching KS1/Primary pupils is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of UK Primary Curriculum preferred.
• Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons appropriate for KS1 pupils.
• Teach core subjects including English, Mathematics, and Science.
• Develop pupils' reading, writing, numeracy, and communication skills.
• Assess and monitor pupils' progress and provide appropriate feedback.
• Create a safe, supportive, and positive classroom environment.
• Encourage children's confidence, creativity, independence, and participation.
• Manage classroom behavior using positive and effective strategies.
• Identify pupils who may require additional educational support.
• Work closely with parents, colleagues, and school leadership.
• Maintain accurate records of pupils' learning and development.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development.
