Job summary

V2X is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic III for KC-130J maintenance to troubleshoot and repair airframes, power plants, and related systems on military aircraft. You will perform maintenance per MIMs/MRCs, read manuals and diagrams, and conduct functional tests and calibrations.

The role requires reading and interpreting maintenance data, using IPBs to source parts, and ensuring compliance with directives. DoD Secret clearance is required; travel and flexible scheduling may be involved.

Qualifications

Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance.
Working knowledge of computers and diagnostic software (DTADS).

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots and/or repairs malfunctions in aircraft airframes and power plant systems.
Perform maintenance to KC-130J standards and conduct functional tests.
Read, interpret manuals, bulletins, and schematics to determine repair methods.
Use IPBs to determine parts and order parts as needed.
Perform inspections and maintenance per MIMs and MRCs.
Operate support equipment for flight line maintenance.
