Job summary

V2X Inc. seeks a KC-130J Avionics/COM/NAV Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft avionics and related systems. You will perform calibration, functional tests, and follow MRCs/MIMs while ensuring compliance with maintenance directives.

Strong reading of schematics and use of precision tools are essential for success. The role requires deploying with maintenance teams, cross-training in essential specialties, and coordinating with Kuwait Air Force directives.

Qualifications

• Four years’ maintenance experience in the C-130J avionics/communications/navigations specialty preferred.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain AVGFE, APU run qualification, I Level Battery Maintenance, CDI/CDQAR.
• Working knowledge of aviation maintenance programs, tool control, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair avionics/COM/NAV and related aircraft systems.
• Perform maintenance per MRCs and MIMs with calibration and functional tests.
• Inspect wiring, connectors, breakers, components, and perform replacements as needed.
• Interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and schematics for repairs.
• Order parts using IPB references and ensure proper documentation in the dataport.
• Cross-train across required technical specialties and support flight line ops.
