The Juice & Beverages Sales Manager will lead and execute sales strategies to drive volume, visibility, and profitability across Kuwait’s retail, HORECA, and wholesale channels. This role demands a strong understanding of the Kuwaiti market, key accounts, and consumer preferences in fresh and packaged beverage categories.
Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales plans for juice products to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. Analyze market trends and customers' needs to identify new opportunities and niche channels.
- Account Management: Manage relationships with key accounts such as Co-ops, supermarkets, schools (e.g., Lulu, Carrefour), cafés, restaurants, and hotels. Negotiate pricing, listing fees, and promotional budgets with clients and distributors.
- Distribution Oversight: Work closely with logistics and distribution teams to ensure product availability and freshness across outlets. Optimize van sales and direct store delivery (DSD) models.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a sales team, including sales reps, merchandisers, and promoters. Set KPIs and monitor performance metrics to ensure sales targets are achieved.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting: Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and consumer preferences. Provide regular reports and forecasts to management with actionable insights.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or relevant field. An MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of FMCG/beverage sales experience, preferably in Kuwait or the GCC. Prior experience with juices, functional drinks, smoothies, or health-oriented beverages is highly desirable.
- Languages: English & Arabic fluency preferred.
- Skills & Competencies: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Data-driven decision-making and territory management. Proven ability to lead and inspire a sales team. Strong knowledge of trade marketing, planograms, and in-store activation.
