Job Summary
The E.R.A.A Group is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician to support the design, installation, and maintenance of Access Control and CCTV systems, along with basic IT infrastructure and networking tasks. This role focuses on delivering small to mid-scale projects that involve the integration of physical security systems with essential IT components, including IP-based networks, servers, and structured cabling. The ideal candidate is hands-on, adaptable, and capable of supporting both field installations and backend configurations.

Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and maintain Access Control systems (e.g., Salto, Nedap, Honeywell)
• Deploy and support CCTV systems including IP cameras, NVRs, and video management platforms (e.g., Milestone, Axis, Honeywell, Pelco)
• Perform system testing, diagnostics, and assist during handover phases
• Conduct site surveys, assist in preparing technical drawings, and maintain installation documentation
• Support the installation and configuration of Windows-based servers and user environments
• Assist with basic services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and local file sharing setups
• Set up and troubleshoot network devices such as switches, routers, and wireless access points
• Configure IP addressing, VLANs, and assist with structured cabling for small to medium-sized networks
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation including as-built drawings, IP schemes, and configuration records
• Support senior engineers throughout project deployment and post-installation support phases

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience working with physical security systems and basic IT infrastructure
• Familiarity with:
– IP-based Access Control and CCTV systems
– Windows Server environments and basic user management
– Networking concepts including IP addressing, subnetting, and VLANs
– Common network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, cable layouts, and network diagrams
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or within a team

Preferred Certifications
• Vendor certifications in Access Control (e.g., Salto, HID) and CCTV (e.g., Axis, Hikvision, Milestone)
• Basic IT certifications such as CompTIA Network+, MTA, or AWS Cloud Practitioner
• Exposure to virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus
