Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support & Systems Administrator to manage and support the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role involves providing technical support to staff, maintaining systems and networks, enhancing cybersecurity measures, and collaborating with vendors to ensure smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support

• Provide first-line technical assistance to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues (e.g., printers, scanners, email, application renewals, etc.).
• Respond to and resolve support requests promptly to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

System Maintenance

• Perform regular maintenance and updates of IT systems, servers, and end-user devices.
• Ensure secure access controls such as restricted USB access to approved personnel.
• Conduct periodic system checks and backups using tools like AvePoint and Azure.

Network Management

• Oversee and manage network infrastructure, ensuring reliable performance across systems such as BioTime, CCTV, and internet connectivity.
• Identify and resolve network issues and implement system upgrades as necessary.

Cybersecurity

• Support cybersecurity initiatives, including coordination with vendors for gap analysis and compliance efforts such as CMMC certification.
• Implement and monitor security protocols to safeguard organizational data and IT assets.

IT Infrastructure Development

• Plan, install, configure, and integrate new IT systems and hardware to meet organizational needs.
• Work closely with vendors to procure and implement effective IT solutions.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate documentation of all IT assets, configurations, processes, and changes.
• Monitor and report on key metrics, such as OneDrive usage and weekly system checks.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on IT system performance, incidents, and ongoing projects.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT support and systems administration.
• Strong understanding of Windows OS, networking protocols, cybersecurity practices, and backup systems.
