Job description

We are looking for a IT Infrastructure Manager (Head) for a Leading Financial Services Company based in Kuwait.

The position reports to the Group Head of Technology.

Role Description

The IT Infrastructure Manager will oversee end-to-end IT infrastructure operations, including server management, network security, system administration, and troubleshooting.

1. Analyze operating processes to ensure they meet requirements.
2. Implement preventive maintenance procedures for all IT infrastructure.
3. Manage logging procedures for maintenance activities.
4. Investigate escalated technical problems, analyze issues, and provide effective solutions.
5. Ensure adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
6. Coordinate across multiple business lines to implement consistent architecture and technology aligned with organizational goals.
7. Guide and assist with special projects, including preparing unit plans and strategies.
8. Develop system test plans and assist with testing interfaces and systems as required.
9. Perform daily system monitoring to verify hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes; review logs; verify scheduled jobs completion.
10. Conduct ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization.
11. Provide technical support for infrastructure-related issues, ensuring system availability.
12. Maintain relationships with third-party vendors to evaluate and recommend compliant products.
13. Perform security monitoring to identify and mitigate intrusions and security risks.
14. Manage infrastructure expenses to control costs.
15. Prepare periodic reports on system availability and other management metrics.

Qualifications

1. BE/B.Tech with 15 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Management.
2. Expertise in IT operations, server management, data centers, and network security.
3. Strong troubleshooting skills.
4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
5. Knowledge of the financial services industry is a plus.
6. Experience working in Kuwait/GCC is required.
