Job summary

NTU International A/S in Kuwait seeks a Senior Non-Key Expert – Investment & Blending to lead investment project preparation, blending and guarantee activities. You will help develop pipelines, structure projects and liaise with European and international financial institutions to support EU-funded actions.

Fluency in English is assumed; Arabic is desirable and French is an asset. The assignment focuses on consultancy support, technical advice, and high-quality outputs for EU cooperation

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in economics, finance, investment, banking, business administration, or related field.
• Arabic is desirable.
• French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on investment project preparation and blending instruments.
• Support investment pipeline development and project structuring.
• Engage with EFSD+, EU blending mechanisms and cooperation with European/International Financial Institutions.
• Coordinate with financial institutions, public authorities and project promoters.

Job description

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the proposal preparation of the EU-funded project called: “Egypt Downtown Facility.”

The overall objective of this assignment is to enhance the effectiveness, coherence and visibility of the Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership between the European Union and the Arab Republic of Egypt by providing rapid, flexible and high-quality technical assistance in support of jointly agreed bilateral cooperation priorities. This objective will contribute to strengthened policy dialogue, improved programme implementation and reinforced institutional capacities of Egyptian partner entities involved in EU-funded actions.

In this context, we are seeking a highly qualified Senior Non-Key Expert – Investment & Blending to support technical assistance assignments related to investment project preparation, EU blending and guarantee instruments, investment pipeline development, project structuring, and cooperation with European and international financial institutions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Master’s degree in economics, finance, investment, banking, business administration, or a related field.
• Arabic is desirable.
• French is an asset.

Professional Experience

• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with investment project preparation, blending and/or financial guarantee instruments.
• Knowledge of EFSD+, EU blending mechanisms and cooperation with European/International Financial Institutions.
• Experience developing investment pipelines, project concepts or feasibility assessments.
• Experience liaising with financial institutions, public authorities and project promoters.
