Job summary

The role covers expert missions, study visits, and capacity development, including training sessions, with a focus on strengthening EU-Egypt cooperation and enhancing partner institutional capacities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in international relations, European studies, public administration, law or political science.
• Arabic language skills are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate institutional cooperation between public administrations.
• Coordinate peer-to-peer exchanges, TAIEX and Twinning instruments.
• Organize expert missions, study visits and institutional exchanges.
• Provide capacity-building sessions and training.
• Support EU-Egypt policy dialogue and programme coordination.

Job description

Senior Non-Key Expert – Institutional Cooperation

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the proposal preparation of the EU-funded project called: “Egypt Downtown Facility.”

The overall objective of this assignment is to enhance the effectiveness, coherence and visibility of the Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership between the European Union and the Arab Republic of Egypt by providing rapid, flexible and high-quality technical assistance in support of jointly agreed bilateral cooperation priorities. This objective will contribute to strengthened policy dialogue, improved programme implementation and reinforced institutional capacities of Egyptian partner entities involved in EU-funded actions.

In this context, we are seeking a highly qualified Senior Non-Key Expert – Institutional Cooperation to support technical assistance assignments related to institutional cooperation, peer-to-peer exchanges between public administrations, TAIEX and Twinning instruments, expert missions, study visits, and institutional capacity development.

Qualifications and Skills

• Master’s degree in international relations, European studies, public administration, law, political science, or a related field.
• Arabic is an asset.

Professional Experience

• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience facilitating institutional cooperation between public administrations.
• Experience with TAIEX, Twinning and/or similar peer-to-peer institutional cooperation instruments.
• Experience organising expert missions, institutional exchanges and study visits.
• Experience providing training, capacity building sessions is desired.
• Knowledge of EU institutions and Member State public administrations.
