The Inventory Controller is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Inventory Control Management Activities
- Reconcile inventory balances between all warehouses on a monthly basis;
- Investigate inventory-related variances and ensure corrective actions are taken;
- Oversee inventory-related requests from various departments;
- Plan, organize, and monitor the purchase orders and receiving process; monitor the flow of paperwork from inbound team to receiving team for timely data entry;
- Resolve discrepancies with inbound team regarding invoices, packing slips, and receipt reports;
- Monitor and measure receiving and warehouse performance for accuracy;
- Prepare and maintain receiving material and movement reports;
- Supervise all open stock transfers to ensure they are dispatched timely;
- Oversee system write-offs for all locations as per SOPs;
- Prepare monthly inventory analysis reports with turnovers;
- Coordinate annual stock count preparation and reconciliation;
- Prepare daily stock reports and weekly reports as requested by management;
- Prepare and reconcile daily sales orders and returns, providing comparisons to the Head of Supply Chain.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar or related field
