Job description

The Inventory Controller is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Inventory Control Management Activities
  • Reconcile inventory balances between all warehouses on a monthly basis;
  • Investigate inventory-related variances and ensure corrective actions are taken;
  • Oversee inventory-related requests from various departments;
  • Plan, organize, and monitor the purchase orders and receiving process; monitor the flow of paperwork from inbound team to receiving team for timely data entry;
  • Resolve discrepancies with inbound team regarding invoices, packing slips, and receipt reports;
  • Monitor and measure receiving and warehouse performance for accuracy;
  • Prepare and maintain receiving material and movement reports;
  • Supervise all open stock transfers to ensure they are dispatched timely;
  • Oversee system write-offs for all locations as per SOPs;
  • Prepare monthly inventory analysis reports with turnovers;
  • Coordinate annual stock count preparation and reconciliation;
  • Prepare daily stock reports and weekly reports as requested by management;
  • Prepare and reconcile daily sales orders and returns, providing comparisons to the Head of Supply Chain.
