Overview

The Integrated Billing Analyst Clerk reports directly to the Integrated Billing Supervisor and collaborates with various departments to ensure accurate and timely billing processes. Responsibilities include creating invoices, reconciling costs, maintaining records, and supporting audits. Flexibility in working hours is required, including mandatory overtime during peak periods, weekends, and late hours until new software or processes are implemented.

Responsibilities

  1. Billing Responsibilities:
    • Create invoices with supporting documents, research, and reconcile costs for fixed-price and reimbursable billings.
    • Perform Booked Cost to Billed Cost reconciliations for each contract.
    • Coordinate with personnel from various departments to ensure complete and accurate documentation for billing and collection.
    • Monitor and research costs, request journal entries to ensure correct cost accumulation.
    • Obtain Statements of Completion of Work (SOCOWs) and apply them to monthly billings as needed.
    • Communicate with customers and site personnel to gather and process accurate billing information.
    • Assist during audits and periodic reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies in all tasks.
    • Maintain order-to-cash responsibilities across departments.
    • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and proprietary data.
    • Participate in projects and initiatives as assigned.
  2. General Responsibilities:
    • Exhibit professional, courteous behavior with customers and colleagues.
    • Assist co-workers and other departments as needed.
    • Adhere to all safety policies and practices.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Experience: 0-1 years in GL accounting and government contract accounting preferred. Experience with IFS, SAP, and Excel is a plus.
  • Skills and Technology: Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and time management skills; strong attention to detail.
