Job summary

Client of Angel Gulf Jobs in Kuwait seeks an experienced instrumentation technician to install, calibrate, maintain and repair industrial instrumentation and control systems on site.

You will read P&IDs, loop diagrams and wiring drawings, assist with commissioning and start-up, and maintain accurate calibration records while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant industrial instrumentation experience.
• ITI/Diploma in Instrumentation or related field preferred.
• Relevant technical qualification/certification is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and calibration skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Key Responsibilities

Install maintain calibrate troubleshoot and repair industrial instrumentation and control systems Perform installation and maintenance of pressure temperature flow and level instruments Carry out calibration and testing of field instruments as per specifications Troubleshoot instrument faults and identify problems in control loops Install and terminate instrument cables tubing junction boxes and control wiring Read and interpret instrumentation drawings loop diagrams P amp IDs and wiring diagrams Assist with commissioning testing and start-up of instrumentation systems Maintain accurate calibration and maintenance records Follow site safety procedures and quality standards

Technical Skills

Hands-on experience with pressure temperature flow and level transmitters Knowledge of control valves positioners switches gauges sensors and actuators Experience with 4 20 mA HART pneumatic and electronic instrumentation Ability to use multimeters loop calibrators pressure calibrators and other test equipment Knowledge of instrument calibration loop checking and troubleshooting Ability to read P amp IDs instrument index loop diagrams cable schedules and hook-up drawings Basic knowledge of PLC DCS SCADA and control systems is an advantage Knowledge of instrument tubing impulse lines cable termination and gland installation Understanding of hazardous-area instrumentation and industrial safety is preferred

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 3+ years of relevant industrial instrumentation experience. ITI/Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or related field preferred. Relevant technical qualification/certification is preferred. Strong troubleshooting and calibration skills. Good understanding of industrial instrumentation and control systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team. Physically fit and willing to work in industrial/site environments.
