Job summary

SummitLab in Hawalli, Kuwait is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. You will install, calibrate, maintain, and repair electronic and pneumatic instruments used across industrial settings.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of Instrument Technician experience, reads technical drawings, and can troubleshoot complex instrument issues. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of electronic circuitry, pneumatic systems and instrumentation.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Proficiency with specialized tools for troubleshooting and repair.
• Good communication in English; Arabic is a plus.

We are currently hiring for an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Hawalli.

As an Instrument Technician you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of electronic and pneumatic instruments used in a variety of industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Install and calibrate various types of instruments including pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters and level indicators
• Troubleshoot and repair instrument malfunctions using specialized tools and equipment
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of instruments and identify any potential issues
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on instruments
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve instrument performance and efficiency
• Follow safety protocols and regulations while working on instruments

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
• Knowledge of electronic circuitry, pneumatic systems and various types of instrumentation
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
• Proficiency in using specialized tools for troubleshooting and repairing instruments
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Valid work permit or visa in Kuwait
