Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in mechanical and plumbing inspection roles.
  • Experience inspecting port, terminal, or industrial facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems operation and maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of plumbing systems, water distribution, and drainage.
  • Proficiency with inspection tools and measurement instruments.
  • Familiarity with maritime safety standards and port regulations (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems, equipment, and plumbing installations throughout port and terminal facilities
  • Evaluate compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies
  • Identify defects, malfunctions, deterioration, and maintenance needs during inspections
  • Document inspection findings in detailed reports with photographic evidence and technical observations
  • Analyze inspection data and prepare recommendations for corrective and preventive maintenance actions
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors to address identified issues and verify corrective actions
  • Perform routine and specialized inspections on mechanical equipment, piping systems, and plumbing fixtures
  • Maintain organized and accurate inspection records, logs, and documentation for audit and compliance purposes
  • Communicate inspection results and safety concerns to facility management and relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure all inspection activities comply with port authority regulations and international maritime standards
  • Participate in safety audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inspector (Mechanical & Plumbing) to join our team at our port and terminal facilities in Kuwait. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of mechanical and plumbing systems across our port infrastructure, ensuring all equipment and installations meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our facility's mechanical and plumbing infrastructure while supporting our commitment to safe and efficient port operations.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems, equipment, and plumbing installations throughout port and terminal facilities
