Job summary
A healthcare facility in Kuwait City is seeking a qualified pediatric dietitian to assess nutritional needs and develop individualized feeding plans for infants and children. You will lead educational workshops and collaborate with clinical teams to integrate nutrition into care pathways. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Nutrition & Dietetics and over 5 years of experience in pediatric nutrition.
Qualifications

- Deep knowledge of WHO growth standards, therapeutic feeding protocols, and pediatric nutrient needs.

What you will do
- Assess & Diagnose Nutritional Needs: Conduct comprehensive assessments (growth charts, dietary histories, medical records) for infants, toddlers, and children.
- Develop Individualized Feeding Plans: Create age- and condition-specific plans—breastfeeding support, formula guidance, introduction of solids, allergy management, and therapeutic diets.
- Counsel Families & Caregivers: Lead one-on-one and group sessions to educate on feeding techniques, portion sizes, nutrient requirements, and troubleshooting common challenges.
- Collaborate with Clinical Teams: Partner with neonatologists, pediatricians, nurses, and therapists to integrate nutrition into each child’s care pathway.
- Monitor Outcomes & Adjust Plans: Track growth metrics, lab results, and caregiver feedback; refine plans to ensure optimal development.
- Lead Educational Outreach: Design and facilitate workshops on topics like infant feeding best practices, managing picky eaters, and adolescent nutrition.
- Maintain Documentation & Resources: Keep accurate records in the EMR and maintain up-to-date educational materials and growth-monitoring tools.

Skills
