Job summary

GulfStream Media UAE in Al Ahmadi seeks an experienced Indian Executive Chef to lead our kitchen, crafting menus that fuse Indian flavors with a modern twist and ensuring top culinary standards.

As head of the kitchen you will supervise staff, manage inventory, and collaborate with management on promotions and events, while maintaining hygiene and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Fluency in English is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in Indian or fine dining.
• Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, spices, and techniques.
• Ability to create innovative dishes while preserving traditional flavors.
• Excellent leadership skills to train and motivate a team.

We are seeking an experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Al Ahmadi As the head of our kitchen you will be responsible for creating and executing menus that showcase Indian cuisine with a modern twist Your creativity attention to detail and strong leadership skills will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our restaurant

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and create menus that feature a variety of authentic Indian dishes with a modern twist
• Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations including food preparation cooking and presentation
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food quality and service
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen area
• Collaborate with management to develop new menu items promotions and special events

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in an Indian restaurant or fine dining establishment
• Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine spices and cooking techniques
• Ability to create innovative dishes while maintaining traditional flavors
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Proficiency in English is preferred

Salary 1500$ per month tax-free

Note This position is open to all nationalities but preference will be given to candidates who are currently residing in Al Ahmadi and have their own visa
