HVAC Engineer

The HVAC Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation of HVAC systems, conducting system audits, and implementing energy-efficient solutions. The HVAC Engineer also works on the specification of HVAC equipment, ensures compliance with building codes and safety regulations, and provides technical support for ongoing projects. Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain HVAC systems for new and existing buildings.
• Perform calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection to ensure optimal HVAC system performance.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of HVAC equipment, including troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ensure HVAC systems comply with local codes, safety regulations, and energy efficiency standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to review project requirements and provide technical solutions for HVAC needs.
• Provide technical support during the commissioning and testing of HVAC systems.

Key Requirements

• Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, HAP, Trane Trace).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
