Job description

We are looking for an HR Business Partner for our Kuwait office to execute and drive Trafalgar Luxury Group’s HR strategy for Kuwait in line with the HR Director. The candidate must understand the team dynamics and the functions they support and how they associate with the broader business. They are expected to lead and model the Trafalgar Luxury Group culture, while being thoughtful about cultural nuances that may impact how teams work together with other teams locally and regionally.

The candidate will drive a One Team mindset in talent by investing in time to build and support HR practices (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Talent Management, Employee Services & Inclusion Strategy) and will design, deliver and advise on the Talent Strategy to the business.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance organizational performance and employee motivation by managing HR policies related to recruitment, evaluation, promotion, reward, and discipline.
  • Develop proactive solutions to drive change initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Plan and oversee talent management processes, including performance reviews, workforce evaluation, development, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to implement systems and processes that meet business needs.
  • Monitor key HR indicators, identify opportunities for improvement, and support action plan development.
  • Advice on complex HR matters, including sick leave, exit procedures, and mediation between employees and managers.
  • Coordinate the ‘TLG Culture Index’ (employee engagement survey), providing feedback and recommendations to managers.
  • Contribute to HR projects focused on trends and initiatives such as health & well-being.
  • Ensure contribution to accurate and complete HR administration.
  • Lead through change and navigate ambiguity, while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Work autonomously and be able to demonstrate proactivity in identifying and addressing potential challenges before they become problems.
  • Explore and analyze data to identify insights and opportunities for business impact, using data to drive business decisions and tell a compelling story that influences stakeholders.
  • Be a self-starter who is comfortable in both the details and strategy, demonstrating curiosity about the business and organization overall with a desire to uplevel the partnership with the teams they support.

Qualifications

  • College or University Graduate (preferable higher level of education MBA, etc....)
  • Professional Experience (5) to eight (8) years’ experience gained through increasingly responsible management positions within Human Resources.
  • Must have robust HR Business Partnering experience with a proven ability and readiness to be hands-on.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to translate business strategy into actionable talent solutions.
  • Strong judgment, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages such as Word and Excel, PowerPoint Presentation; e-mail and internet data research and interpretation.
  • Knowledge of computerized information systems used in human resources applications.
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Competent in organizational development and employee relations
  • Knowledgeable in local laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages.
  • Proven coaching, communication, and leadership skills, setting an example of excellence.
  • Expertise in change management, capable of navigating complex and ambiguous situations.
  • Good understanding and experience in local Labor Law.
