HSE Manager

We are seeking a highly qualified HSE Manager to join our team and lead Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives across our major projects in Kuwait.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop, and implement HSE strategies, programs, and initiatives across multiple project sites.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable HSE legislation, standards, and client requirements (including OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and Kuwait’s environmental laws).
• Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and site inspections, and oversee corrective action plans.
• Champion a proactive "zero-incident" safety culture through continuous employee training, awareness programs, and coaching.
• Oversee contractor HSE performance and ensure alignment with project safety requirements.
• Lead root-cause analysis and investigations for all incidents and near-misses, ensuring lessons learned are implemented and shared.
• Collaborate closely with project management, client representatives, and regulatory authorities.
• Develop emergency response plans, conduct drills, and ensure site preparedness for emergency situations.
• Continuously review and improve HSE policies, manuals, and procedures to align with international best practices and project needs.
• Prepare and submit regular HSE performance reports and statistical analyses to senior management and clients.

Essential Qualifications & Capabilities:

• Minimum 15 years of HSE experience in the oil & gas sector, including at least 5 years in a leadership role managing HSE teams or departments.
• Pre-approved / pre-qualified by major oil & gas operators such as KOC, KGOC, KNPC, or other top-tier clients.
• Strong command of international and local standards: OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and Kuwait environmental legislation.
• Demonstrated ability to design, lead, and enhance HSE programs at multiple, complex project sites.
• Advanced skills in incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and developing preventive action plans.
• Proven track record in fostering and sustaining a zero-incident safety culture.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, team-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• Immediately available to work in Kuwait with a transferable residency (Visa 18).
