Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Kuwait City is seeking a dedicated HR professional to assist management with HR issues, support the leadership team, and help manage employee records and recruitment.

You will coordinate screenings, background checks, drug tests, and onboarding while maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

This full-time, non-management role offers exposure to a global hospitality brand and opportunities to contribute to a busy property on Al Shuhada Street.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• No supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support management and the leadership team with handling and resolving HR issues.
• Coordinate and conduct applicant drug screens, reference checks, background checks, and social security number verification.
• Maintain applicant flow, drug screen, orientation and transfer request logs; enter new hire data into HRIS.
• Support processing and maintenance of payroll records in accordance with policies; ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
