Job Description:

  • Oversee menu development, food preparation, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Manage, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain productivity and quality.
  • Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Control inventory, costs, and vendor relationships to optimize kitchen efficiency.

Skills

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years in high-end restaurants (South Africa/Eastern Europe preferred), with Italian, American, and Pan-Asian cuisine; previous Head/Executive Chef roles in luxury settings
  • Culinary diploma/degree required; HACCP/ServSafe is an added advantage
  • Must have a professional portfolio; GCC experience is a plus
  • Strong in premium cuisine, well-presented, with excellent leadership and communication skills; proficient in budgeting, cost control, inventory, and kitchen systems
