Overview

Guest Services Assistant to join Sports & Leisure at Jumeirah Messilah Beach. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are listed below.

Responsibilities
  • To provide courteous and professional service at all times.
  • Welcome guests, greet guests and members, explain and up sell the facilities and services available.
  • Assist in answering all telephone communications within three rings observing standards, etiquette, and patience at all times. Handle guest messages and communication needs accurately.
  • Ensure guests are directed to desired locations and connected with the appropriate service.
  • Schedule reservations of Personal Trainers for guests and coordinate staff schedules to ensure prompt service.
  • Assist with administration duties: filing, products supply inventory and other duties required to support management and operations.
  • Report all problems and/or complaints related to the S&L. Communicate via logbook and staff meetings, depending upon urgency.
  • Liaise with all related departments, confirm reservations, process engineering requests and maintain cleanliness.
  • Understand all current activities and promotions within S&L and Hotel.
  • Maintain daily operations, including opening, operating and closing procedures.
  • Participate in any scheduled training programs and attend the internal S&L meetings.
  • Record in appropriate logbook any guest requests, complaints or engineering requests.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the same role in a five-star hotel.
  • Solid administrative skills.
  • Fit, positive personality and presentable.
  • Strong English communication skills.
