The Role

Responsibilities

1. Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP, Laravel, and OpenCart.
2. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
3. Design and implement database schemas and ensure the efficient performance of queries.
4. Customize and extend OpenCart functionality to meet project requirements.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, security, and usability.
6. Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
7. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
8. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions on time.
9. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Ideal Profile

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Experience working as a Full Stack Developer, performing unit testing, and managing APIs such as REST.
3. Technical skills required: Node.js, MySQL, React.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Next.js, MongoDB, REST API, Express.js.
4. Knowledge of database design and querying using SQL & MongoDB.
5. Proficiency in HTML and JavaScript.
6. A portfolio of applications and programs to your name.
7. Problem-solving skills and a critical mindset.
8. Great communication skills in English.
9. The desire and ability to learn.
