Overview

Fitter in Al Fahahil, Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing maintenance, repair and installation services on a variety of machines and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair machinery and equipment according to manufacturers’ specifications.
• Diagnose faults in machinery and equipment using standard testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
• Follow safety regulations when performing maintenance activities. Ensure that all repairs are carried out in accordance with the relevant health and safety laws.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on machines in order to reduce the likelihood of breakdowns occurring.
• Test repaired machinery or equipment before returning it to service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an industrial environment.
• A good understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
