Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced to lead our sales efforts within the banking and financial services industry in Kuwait. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth by positioning our software solutions to meet the unique needs of banks and financial institutions in Kuwait and in the GCC region. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the banking sector in Kuwait and GCC, established relationships with key decision-makers, and a proven track record of successfully selling complex software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy specifically targeting the banking sector in Kuwait, aligning with the company's overall sales objectives.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify key trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the Kuwaiti banking sector.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with C-level executives and other key decision-makers within banks and financial institutions in Kuwait.
- Sales Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals (if applicable) focused on the banking sector, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
- Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Solution Selling: Understand the specific business challenges and technological needs of banking clients and effectively articulate the value proposition of our software solutions in addressing those needs.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with technical teams to develop compelling and customized proposals that clearly demonstrate the benefits and ROI of our solutions for banking clients.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Accurately forecast sales pipelines, track progress against targets, and provide regular reports to senior management on sales activities and performance within the banking sector.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure a cohesive and effective go-to-market strategy for the banking sector.
- Industry Expertise: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements within the banking sector in Kuwait to maintain a position as a trusted advisor.
- Achieving Sales Targets: Be accountable for achieving and exceeding assigned sales targets and revenue goals within the banking sector.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive sales experience, with a significant portion focused on selling software solutions to the banking or financial services sector in Kuwait.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets in the banking industry.
- Strong network of contacts and established relationships with key decision-makers within Kuwaiti banks and financial institutions.
- Deep understanding of the challenges, opportunities, and regulatory environment within the banking sector in Kuwait.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to understand and articulate complex technical solutions to a non-technical audience.
- Experience in leading and motivating sales teams (if applicable).
- Fluency in English and Arabic is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales management tools.
