A recruitment agency in Kuwait City seeks a Finance Officer to support financial operations by maintaining accurate records and producing financial reports. The role involves daily journal entries, bank reconciliations, and managing accounts payable and receivable. Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Business Central.
Job Summary:
The Finance Officer supports the company’s financial operations by maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance, and producing financial reports that guide business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily journal entries and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Execute bank reconciliations across all company accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Lead the monthly financial closing process and assist in preparing closing reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, monitor cash flow, and oversee timely vendor payments.
• Operate Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Microsoft Business Central) for daily financial processing.
• Coordinate with digital banking platforms and manage online banking operations.
• Support budget planning and provide variance analysis against actual results.
• Assist in audit preparation by providing detailed supporting documentation.
• Ensure adherence to local accounting standards and internal financial controls.
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
Requirement open for Arab Nationals
3–5 years of professional finance or accounting experience
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Business Central (or equivalent ERP systems)
Hands-on experience with online banking platforms and managing banking interfaces
Proven track record in daily journal entries, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing
Prior exposure to fintech, banking, or investment services is a plus
